Arrowhead Homeowners’ Association

About the Arrowhead Homeowners’ Association

The Arrowhead Homeowners’ Board consist of neighborhood volunteers elected by majority vote by our members each December. The elected officers work along side each community member to maintain our neighborhood in a safe and pristine condition. Our collective efforts will not go unnoticed, the upkeep of our community reflects in the strong value of the homes in Arrowhead. As servants to the community, the board ultimately is here to make your stay in Arrowhead as enjoyable as possible. The following list provides some of the major activities that our board does for our residents:
  • YARD SALES. Each year, the neighborhood sponsors 2 yard sales that are advertised at the cost to the board. One sale occurs in the Spring and the other in the Fall. The exact dates, as they are determined, are shown on the main page of this website.

  • MAINTAINS ENTRANCES OFF OF ATLANTA HIGHWAY. The three entrances from Atlanta Highway to Arrowhead Drive, Seminole Drive, and Oldfield Drive. If you should find something in need of repair or landscaping or attention, please contact us.

  • SEMI-ANNUAL MEMBER'S MEETINGS. We conduct semi-annual member's meetings at the Arrowhead Country Club where homeowners are able to sign up to be a part of our voluntary homeowners’ association (cost of $95/year), express concerns and offer suggestions on what the board can do to help us keep our neighborhood pristine, desirable and safe. And, of course, we give out door prizes to those who attend. We greatly appreciate our neighbors who participate and therefore, help us help you to keep our neighborhood the great neighborhood that we are.
  • HOLIDAY DECORATIONS. We decorate each entrance during the Holidays and we recognize those who we feel have done the best job of holiday decorations.
  • POLICE DEPARTMENT. We maintain a very close relationship with the Montgomery Police Department to keep up with any crime in our neighborhood. Arrowhead is no more prone to crime than any other neighborhood in Montgomery, but our Homeowners’ Association has and always will take steps to reduce crime and work with the police to ask for additional surveillance by both police and residents. You will sometimes see our city policeman providing us with extra patrols, sometimes even on bicycles!

  • SECURITY CAMERAS. We, like many other neighborhoods around the Montgomery area, have installed security cameras at our entrances to deter criminals from thinking that they can come into our neighborhood and violate our homes. We won't tolerate crime in our neighborhood and will do all that we can to stop it in its tracks. While the cameras were given by the city, the Arrowhead HOA pays for the power and maintenance. Camera footage can only be obtained by requests made through the Montgomery Police Dept.
  • COMMUNICATIONS. Our quarterly newsletter, TeePee Talk, is sent out to all our residents to keep them aware of board activities, issues that we may need assistance with, and just general information of the goings-on in our neighborhood.
