​​Welcome to Arrowhead!  

We are pleased that you have come to visit our site and learn about our neighborhood.  Arrowhead is Montgomery,  Alabama's "best kept secret'.  Located just north of Interstate 85 exit #11 (Mitylene exit) in East Montgomery.

Arrowhead is a well-established neighborhood with mostly large lots that offer privacy, well established trees; some large producing pecan, and no overhead utility lines.  We are a neighborhood of unique home designs  that range from large to midsize single and two story homes. Many of our residents have upgraded their homes to include the amenities that today's buyers are seeking.   You will also find some newer homes in the subdivision.

There are over 750 homes in Arrowhead, some bordering the Arrowhead Country Club golf course, who's amenities include an 18 hole championship golf course with a fully stocked pro shop, tennis courts, swimming pool, men's sauna, full men's and ladies' locker rooms, golf practice facility, fitness room, and restaurant facilities.  

All that you need is near by, including the best restaurants, shopping, hospitals, and medical offices, among others.  We are located just minutes away from The Shoppes at Eastchase, Baptist Hospital East, many institutes of higher education, including; Auburn University Montgomery, Tuskegee UniversityTroy University at Montgomery,  Alabama State University, Huntington College, Amridge University and Faulker University, among others.  With easy access to I-85, we are just minutes away from Maxwell and Gunter Air Force Bases.

Being a state Capitol, Montgomery has a lot to offer and our city puts on many free public events during the year for you to participate in or get involved with and is a great way to make new friends!  We are very proud of our minor league baseball team, The Biscuits, which provides hours of entertainment at every home game.

We ask that new residents fill out our resident information form to obtain a welcome package.  We'd love for you to ​join the association ($75/yr) but whether you do or not, please fill out this form so that we can ​keep ​our records current.  We often use email to notify residents of issues involving our neighborhood. The City of Montgomery has ordinances concerning nuisances, such as overgrown grass & weeds and stagnant water. You can report nuisances by calling the city's non-emergency 311 number.

As with almost all neighborhoods in Montgomery, we occasionally see coyotes, hawks and other wildlife about. Please be aware of this as you consider your pet's safety. Also, please be observant of City ordinances regarding dogs running at large and public nuance animals. If you should lose or find a pet, you may want to post on Next Door. (see link above)
